Juyuintza is a remote community located in the Pastaza province, in one of the most biodiverse parts of the Amazon Rainforest in the Ecuador. The rivers and primary rainforest surrounding Juyuintza are home to an incredible variety of plants, animals, and insects, as well as indigenous communities including the Shiwiar people who make this region their home. Living in Juyuintza, a Shiwiar community, you will learn about the traditions and perspectives that have allowed the Shiwiar people to live in harmony with the rainforest for generations. Juyuintza is the ideal place to see, taste, smell, hear, and begin to understand all that the rainforest has to offer - this is an unparalleled opportunity to experience life in the Amazon rainforest guided the people who know it best on the entire planet.

Francisco lives in Juyuintza, a remote community in the heart of the rainforest. He has access to telephone and internet only when he travels to Puyo or Santa Rosa. For this reason it is not possible for Francisco to answer your emails immediately, but he will personally answer every email as soon as he is able. Please write all emails and messages in Spanish only.
You may need a bit of time and patience to organise a trip with Francisco. But you can be sure that it will be more than worth the wait.
